The DeskLink Media team is conceptualising and designing a book that will celebrate the Craft Awards 2009, titled Craft Awards 2009: Crafting New Pathways. In addition to the book, the team has created a complementary look and feel for the 2009 awards evening, producing electronic and hardcopy invitations, programmes, menus and certificates for the winners. The Craft Awards recognise crafters from all nine provinces of South Africa with an eye to ensuring the sustainability of the industry. In keeping with this theme, the team is creating a book that is timeless, of high quality and endurance, and that is truly representative of South African craft. The book will become an ambassador of the world of contemporary South African craft.
